    Expert Tips & Variations

    • The flavor of your peach tea will largely depend on the quality and ripeness of your peaches. Make sure you choose ripe peaches that are fragrant and have a sweet aroma.
    • Green tea can have different flavors depending on the variety you choose. Choose a green tea that you enjoy, whether it's a delicate sencha or a bold matcha.
    • The amount of sugar you add can be adjusted based on your taste preferences. You can also use honey or a natural sweetener to sweeten your tea.
    • To add some freshness and brightness to your iced tea, consider adding a few slices of lemon or lime, or some fresh mint leaves.
    • To get a smooth and clear peach juice, make sure you strain the peach mixture well through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth.

    Variations

    • Add sparkling water: For a fizzy twist, add some sparkling water or soda to your iced peach tea. This can add some refreshing effervescence and a bit of sweetness.
    • Use different teas: Experiment with different types of teas to create new flavor profiles. Try using black tea, white tea, or herbal teas like chamomile or rooibos.
    • Add herbs or spices: Infuse your iced peach tea with different herbs or spices to create new flavor combinations. Try adding ginger, cinnamon, or lavender for a unique twist.
    • Make it a slushie: Blend your iced peach tea with ice to create a refreshing slushie. This can be a great way to cool down on a hot day.
    • Use frozen peaches: If fresh peaches aren't in season, you can use frozen peaches instead. Thaw them and follow the recipe as written.
    • Add other fruits: Mix things up by adding other fruits to your peach tea. Try adding raspberries, strawberries, or blueberries for a fruity twist.

    Storing & Freezing

Storing: Store the iced peach tea in the refrigerator in an airtight container for about one week.

Freezing: Pour tea into ice cube trays. Once frozen, transfer the cubes to a resealable zip top bag to freeze them.
