How To Make This Recipe

Step 1:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2:
Using a rolling pin, roll out pastry sheets until thin, about ⅛-inch.
Step 3:
Cut each sheet into rectangles, forming 8 rectangles per sheet.
Step 4:
Spoon cream cheese to the side of each rectangle, and top with strawberry preserves.
Step 5:
Fold pastry over, forming a square. Using the tines of a fork to firmly crimp the edges together to seal.
Step 6:
Place in the freezer until solid, about an hour.
Step 7:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 8:
Bake pies until golden and puffy, about 20 minutes.
Step 9:
Cool completely on a cooling rack. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
