Recipe Tips & Variations

  • If you’re not a fan of coconut, try substituting the coconut milk with vanilla Greek yogurt, or vanilla ice cream. Both are still delicious!
  • Add more fruit to the milkshake. Try adding blueberries, strawberries or raspberries with the watermelon.
  • Freeze the watermelon chunks before making the milkshake for a thicker shake. You can also add more or less milk to change the consistency.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract for more flavor.
  • You can easily double or triple this recipe if you are serving more than two people.

Storing

Storing: I highly recommend drinking the milkshake immediately, but you can store it for 1 day in the refrigerator.

Freezing: Place the milkshake in an airtight freezer safe container and store in the freezer up to 2 months. Place it in the fridge about 20 minutes or so before drinking to thaw a bit.
