How To Make This Recipe
Step 1:
Melt the butter over low heat in a large saucepan.
Step 2:
Add marshmallows, stir until they are fully melted.
Step 3:
Remove from heat and add cereal and M&Ms. Stir until combined.
Step 4:
Butter your hands, then grab handfuls of the mixture and form into a ball.
Step 5:
Add eyeballs, and press them in slightly so they will stay put. Set on a baking sheet or tray.
You may need to re-grease your hands a time or two throughout the process, so that the mixture won’t stick to your hands.

Recipe Tips & Variations
- Use fresh marshmallows! Don’t use that bag that’s been open in your pantry for months. Fresh is best!
- Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract after you melt the butter for a little extra flavor.
- Toss in some extra marshmallows when you mix in the cereal for a little extra chewiness.
- Add more mix-ins! You’ll want any mix-ins to be soft.
Storing
Storing: Store these treats in an airtight container on the countertop for two days.
FAQ
Nope! In fact, I do not recommend storing these in the refrigerator or freezer because it can make the marshmallow very hard.
Typically this happens when the cereal and/or marshmallows are not fresh. It can also happen when too much cereal and not enough marshmallows are used.
Absolutely! M&M’s are a favorite, but sprinkles, unmelted marshmallows, chocolate chips and pretzels are also favorites! Be creative and have fun with this recipe!
I like to use butter to grease my hands, but you can also use nonstick cooking spray on your hands as well. Another trick is to get your hands wet and shake off the excess water!
